For a successful microblading or permanent makeup procedure, following the aftercare instructions carefully is essential Keeping the treated area moist with Aquaphor continuously for at least 10 days will help the color set and protect it from exposure to oxygen, which can alter the pigment.

Important: Do not wash the area for 24-48 hours!

Avoid for 10 Days:

• Makeup on the treated area

• Intense sweating

• Swimming

• Tanning

• Hot saunas

• Laser, chemical, or Botox treatments

Aquaphor is Your Best Friend:

• Apply Aquaphor with a cotton swab throughout the day for 2-4 weeks to keep the area from drying out.

• For the first 4 hours after the procedure, gently pat the area with a paper towel every 30 minutes to remove any excess fluid.

• Avoid touching the treated area with your fingers to prevent infection.

• Aquaphor is recommended for its low risk of irritation, but Vaseline is a good alternative if you’re allergic.

• Use a high-SPF sunscreen once the area has healed to prevent fading of the pigment.

• Avoid products containing AHAs (like glycolic or lactic acids) on the treated area, as these can cause fading.

Additional Lip Care Instructions:

• Ice your lips every 30 minutes on the day of the procedure to minimize swelling and bruising.

• Avoid toothpaste and hot foods for the first day.

• For 3 days, avoid teeth whiteners, spicy foods/drinks, lemon, salt, and vinegar. Use a straw for staining beverages like coffee or wine, and wear a hat outdoors to shield your lips from the sun.

Additional Eyeliner Care Instructions:

• Ice your eyelids every 30 minutes on the day of the procedure to reduce swelling and bruising.

• For 2 weeks, avoid eyelash tinting, perming, or extensions.
